The Ivey Ring Tradition

The Ivey Alumni Association Board of Directors initiated the Ivey Ring Tradition to send a clear message to new graduates about their role and responsibility in preserving the strong collective reputation that has been earned since 1922. Since the spring of 2004, every graduate of an Ivey degree program takes the Pledge and receives an individually numbered Ivey Ring. This initiative would not have been possible without the generous financial support of the founding and continuing sponsors. We salute these companies for their vision and their belief in this important Tradition.

The Alumni Board is equally as proud to see that alumni have asked for their opportunity to take the Pledge and receive the Ivey Ring. The Ivey Ring Tradition for alumni is designed to be operated on a cost recovery basis. If surpluses result, these will be returned to the alumni through the activities of the Alumni Board.

Thank you to our alumni, who have helped to build the great reputation of the Richard Ivey School of Business.
