Engaging Emerging
Markets – United
Nations Global Compact
Ivey is proud to be the
to become an academic stakeholder in the
Global Compact. We are committed to
implementing the Global Compact's principles and to
use the Compact as a forum for advancing
responsible corporate citizenship.

Ivey responded to the global call for business
schools and academic associations to advance
corporate social responsibility worldwide. The
school has committed to adhere to the
unveiled by a group of scholars and
leading academic organization at the UN Global
Compact Leaders Summit in July of 2007.

The
UN Global Compact
initiative pursues
two complementary goals:
1. To internationalize
the Compact and its principles by making them
part of business strategy and operations.
2. To catalyze cooperation and collective
problem solving between different sectors and
stakeholders.
The Global Compact
asks companies to embrace, support and enact,
within their sphere of influence, a set of core
values in the areas of human rights, labour
standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.

Compact's ten principles in these areas.
