Business Adaptation to Climate Change

Dialogue with other managers and researchers about how business strategies should incorporate adaptation to climate change!

The debate on whether climate change is occurring seems to be subsiding. The question many managers are now asking is: 'How should business strategies incorporate adaptation to climate change?'

On November 28, 2008 the Research Network for Business Sustainability (based at Ivey), in partnership with the International Resource Industries and Sustainability Centre at the Haskayne School of Business, and the Calgary Chamber of Commerce hosted a knowledge forum on Business Adaptation to Climate Change.

Four experts from industry and academia -- Dr. Robert Page, Prof. Jonatan Pinkse, Dr. Monika Winn, and Allan Amey -- presented their knowledge. Attendees had the opportunity to share their experiences, both through formal dialogue workshops and informal networking.
