March 29, 2011

About this Event

Bob Blumer took his three passions: food, art and competitiveness, and channeled them into the award-winning Food Network shows Glutton for Punishment and The Surreal Gourmet – and a rewarding career. Learn how he applied his business know-how related to branding and marketing to jump-start his culinary adventures. As the former manager of Canadian singer-songwriter, Jane Siberry, and co-creator of his Food Network TV series, Blumer knows how to run a cottage industry and gain and sustain an audience’s attention. His shows focus on transforming common ingredients into awe-inspiring dishes, with unusual cooking methods and presentations, making him well-poised to discuss how to reinvent the ordinary to make it extraordinary.
