While an increasingly accepted viewpoint is that the development of Canada’s oil sands only benefits energy companies and their shareholders, lawyer and conservative pundit, Ezra Levant, argues the need to support the development of Canada’s oil sands. Levant, best-selling author of Ethical Oil: The case for Canada's oilsands, winner of the National Book Award 2011, employed his trademark candor to reveal the financial, environmental and ethical issues around the oil we use in our daily lives, and why Canada’s oil sands are a better choice than other oil sources. Levant was joined by award-winning Ivey Professor Rob Klassen whose research focuses on sustainable development and the environment.
