Western Internal Grants Competition - SSHRC Internal Research Grant

These awards, made from funds provided annually by SSHRC, are to support the cost of research initiatives in disciplines normally supported by SSHRC.

These awards are to support the cost of research projects of modest scope. The competitions are for seed money, one-time requests, and projects of short duration. Applications may also be made for new research initiatives.

Grant Amount: $7,000 maximum

Western Internal Grants Competition ¬- SSHRC Internal Conference Travel Grant

These awards, made from funds provided annually by the SSHRC, are to enable faculty to take part in research-related meetings of major scholarly significance in disciplines normally supported by SSHRC.

The awards will cover travel and subsistence costs only. Conference registration fees and the cost of preparing a paper for presentation will not be eligible charges. Applicants must be presenting a paper. The program will fund participation in both regular international congresses and more narrowly focused conferences and seminars which take place at least (500 kilometers) from London, Ontario.

Grant Amount: Travel and Subsistence - $7,000 maximum
