Ivey Scholarships and Awards
All students who apply through their Ivey HBA application will be considered for almost a million dollars in Ivey Scholarships and Awards.
Please be sure to complete the Financial Aid section on the online Ivey HBA application. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an admission award. The recipient selection is extremely competitive due to the high calibre of students admitted to the Ivey HBA Program. While strong grades are important, we also consider leadership skills as demonstrated through extracurricular and community activities.
The Ivey Financial Aid Office will electronically communicate the various Ivey HBA in-program and HBA year 2 award applications throughout the year.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on overall academic merit and/or leadership.
Award recipients are selected based on both merit and financial need. Financial need is assessed through the Western Bursary Application.
Most candidates who have been selected to receive an award will receive notification shortly after their official HBA Admission Offer package. All awards are applied directly to the student's tuition account and are valid for as long as the student is registered full-time in the HBA Program and continues to comply with the Ivey Code of Conduct.
Continuing Awards in HBA2
If your continuing award has a financial need component, you need to complete an award renewal application form.
Over the summer Western will send an email notifying you to submit your award renewal application form. If you did not receive the email, contact Norma Merino complete the financial aid application renewal form.
Once completed and deemed eligible, Western will credit your student account with the scholarship.
If your award did not have a financial need component, contact the Ivey Financial Aid Office.
Apply for Awards in HBA2
The application for HBA2 awards is different than the Ivey Admissions awards application.
The Ivey Financial Aid Office will communicate the application in the early fall and award recipients will be notified by early December. Awards are credited to the student accounts in early December.
There is one application for all HBA2 awards.
Credit Balance from Awards
Your Western student account remains active for the duration of the HBA Program.
Towards the end of your program, if your account still remains in a credit balance Western will issue you a refund cheque to pick up.
External Scholarships
Ivey HBA students have "top of the class" academic records from more than 20 different academic programs. In addition, Ivey HBA's have demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities, through inspiring commitments to their communities, exceptional communication abilities, and impressive international experiences.
This combination of academic achievement and a strong extracurricular profile makes applicants to the Ivey HBA Program very competitive for all sorts of external scholarship opportunities.
