ARRIVAL IN CANADA:
- Take a direct flight to Toronto,
Canada
- Do NOT fly to U.S.A. unless you have
a visa for U.S.A. as well.
- There are international flights to
Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
- Toronto is the closest major city to
London.
Arrival in London, Ontario:
- By air:
Connecting
flights to London are available from Toronto, Ottawa and Detroit.
These can be arranged through your travel agent and
Air Canada.
Flights arriving in London will fly into the
London International
Airport.
- By bus:
From
Toronto or Detroit you can take a
Robert Q Airbus to London. From either city it is 180 kilometres
to London. Tickets may be purchased
at the airport upon arrival. Buses leave every hour, arriving in
London in 2.5 hours.
Where to go upon arrival in
London?
- If you have a room arranged, you
must talk with the landlord about your arrival time. Be sure someone
will be there to meet you. Tell
them your flight number, airline, date and time of expected arrival
in Toronto or London airport, and your mode of transportation to
London. If your plane is delayed be sure to
call the person who is waiting for you in
London.
- If you have
no housing arranged, you should arrange a private Bed
and Breakfast (private home where they take overnight paying guests), or
a hotel in the city. Check the
Tourism London website for hotels and Bed and Breakfasts.

When should you arrive?
- Arrive 3-4 days EARLY -- Give
yourself time to get organized before ANY classes begin!
- WHY?
- to recover from jet lag - to get settled in your room (or find accommodation) - to set up your bank account - to arrange your telephone - to learn the bus system - to find the closest grocery (food) store
- to visit the HBA/MSc office THEN --- start the Ivey

begin
