WHAT’S THE SCHOOL’S OFFICIAL LOGO?

Respecting Ivey's Trademark

Respecting Ivey's Trademark

Ivey’s logo is the School’s official trademark.  It consists of the IVEY wordmark, in combination with an “identification bar” containing the School’s and University’s name. The official Ivey logo always uses these two elements together – never alone. For a list of exceptions, visit our Graphic Standards page.

CAN I USE THE LOGO ANYWHERE?

Understanding 'Clear Space'

Understanding “Clear Space”

The Ivey logo should never be crowded by any text or other nearby images. The general rule is to allow an “E” of clear space all around – the “E” being from the IVEY wordmark. It should also never be “co-branded” or combined with another organization’s brand logo, unless first approved by Ivey Marketing. Contact marketing@ivey.uwo.ca.

GREEN, BLACK, WHITE?

Choosing the Right Colour

Choosing the Right Colour

The Ivey logo can be presented in one of 3 colours – Ivey Green, Black, or White.  The preference is to use Ivey Green (Pantone 343) wherever possible.  All other colours aren’t allowed, and should never be attempted.

HOW SMALL CAN I GO?

Keeping the identification bar readable

Keeping the identification bar readable

Don’t know how what size to make the logo? Look at the identification bar – it must always be readable.

WHAT ABOUT RESIZING?

Stretching, shrinking, and pulling

Stretching, shrinking, and pulling

The Ivey logo should never be enlarged, stretched or shrunk to the point where it distorts its proportions or “aspect ratio”.  If you need to resize a logo, pull diagonally on the file to increase/decrease in the right proportions.
