As a recent HBA graduate, you have the opportunity to expand your career options by earning an Ivey MBA degree in only eight months, and for significantly less cost than other MBA programs and those coming to the School for the first time. The Accelerated MBA Program (AMBA) recognizes the strong foundation of knowledge that you acquired in HBA, and allows you to build on these business and leadership skills at the MBA level.
Students applying to the Accelerated MBA Program for Ivey HBA grads must also meet the admissions criteria outlined for the MBA program, with the exception of the GMAT*. The following documentation is also required:
You will be contacted for an admissions interview once all application components have been received and reviewed.
Tuition for the AMBA program is approximately 60% of the MBA tuition, or $47,000 (Domestic) and $53,100 (International) for entry in July 2013.
*The GMAT is not required for HBA graduates with a 78%+ average over HBA 1 and HBA 2 combined. For students who did not graduate with a 78%+ average, the GMAT is required for admission.
**Ivey's Admissions office will contact UWO directly to obtain transcripts so you are not required to order them.
We encourage you to keep the following timelines in mind when planning to submit your application. We process applications as they are received, and suggest submitting as early as possible to avoid deadline peaks. The AMBA program will begin on July 21, 2014.
Admissions decisions are made throughout the year to correspond with the timing below.
Please note that Deferrals are not permitted for AMBA offers of admission. If a candidate is accepted to the Program and ultimately has to decline the offer, he or she is more than welcome to reapply the following year without penalty.
* We will review applications for the AMBA program until the class reaches capacity.
