Maple Leafs Should Think Twice About Chasing Mike Babcock

After the Toronto Maple Leafs lost five of seven games on the road, team management fired coach Randy Carlyle. Carlyle was hired because he had won a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, but since he took over, the Leafs made the playoffs just once.

If management decides to replace Carlyle with Detroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock, the team's in trouble. Why? Because Babcock is a proven winner.
