About the Arkadi Kuhlmann Lecture Series Panel Event

The Arkadi Kuhlmann Lecture Series brings you thought-provoking and practical information about the world of finance.

In the inaugural event, you’ll explore the revolution that is occurring in the world of finance that will fundamentally change the nature of buying and selling – in every sector of business. The new world of cryptocurrency or e-money is eroding the primary role of cash, and allowing consumers and business to plug directly into the digital economy. It’s a decentralized system that is both alarming to banks and liberating to buyers and sellers who want to do away with banks or centralized authorities. This new world will affect every sector of business – from finance and marketing to IT; and every consumer who buys or sells online or in  person.

Associate Professor Stephen Sapp, and Kyle Kemper, of ChangeTip, and Michael Perklin, President of C4, will help unravel the way in which these digital currencies will affect us all. The wide-ranging discussion will touch on the technology, security, and economics of digital currencies and help you get a better grasp of how cryptocurrency will affect business in all sectors and for both buyers and sellers.

Topics You Will Explore

  • What types of digital currencies are out there?
  • What do you need to know about Bitcoin and other digital currencies?
  • How will the new digital economy affect you and your business?
