Professor Ann Frost weighs the ups and downs of the freelance economy

Organizational Behaviour Professor Ann Frost spoke with The Globe and Mail about the challenges and opportunities that come with the shift to freelance work in North America. While it does provide freedom and flexibility, as many freelancers say, Frost warned of the long-term challenges.

“People are much more insecure, (there’s) a lack of benefits, lack of pension, lack of being able to save,” she said. “(It’s) basically living contract to contract.”
