LONDON, ON – March 5, 2015 – The Ivey Business Journal (IBJ) has a fresh new look and publication format making it an even more interactive resource for our international audience of C-suite executives, corporate directors, managers, business academics and students.

The new IBJ will not publish formal issues on a bi-monthly basis. Instead, it will offer a steady stream of feature content offering practical takeaways on management issues and research as well as exclusive Ivey Interviews and IBJ Insights offering unique analysis of management issues, current events and market trends. Readers can sign up for new content notifications at www.iveybusinessjournal.com.

“IBJ has evolved more than once since it launched as The Quarterly Review of Commerce in 1933,” says Bob Kennedy, Dean, Ivey Business School. “But this time we are not just changing our publication frequency. At Ivey, we firmly believe a never-ending process of reflection and learning is the key to good leadership and management.”

The new IBJ will serve as a hub for research with practical applications, expert views and compelling thought leadership. No longer tied to issue dates, the publication will be able to post timely feature content always targeted at improving the practice of management.

“The new format will make IBJ more flexible and nimble,” notes Editor Thomas Watson, an award winning business journalist. “We can post relevant articles responding quickly to global events such as advice for businesses wondering how to approach change in Cuba or an IBJ insight on what really caused Target to fail in Canada.”
