Kevin Mako, HBA ’07, founded his company in his first year of Ivey’s HBA Program. Now, 10 years later, MAKO Invent has secured a spot on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Entrepreneur 360 list.

MAKO Invent placed 69th on the list based on a study measuring the company’s impact, growth, innovation, and leadership. MAKO is a physical product design firm that provides services for inventors, start-ups, and manufacturers to turn their ideas into reality. It’s one of the few Canadian-based companies on the list of 360.

“We are thrilled to be named one of the best entrepreneurial companies by the very magazine that played a large part in igniting my entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge,” Mako said in a press release. “This further validates everything we do to advance our entrepreneur clients today and educate entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”

The Entrepreneur 360 celebrates outstanding small businesses that demonstrate superior company growth, not just in revenue, but in their ability to create value for clients, provide strong work culture for employees, and drive innovation in their industries.
