The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of November 2016 stood at 56.8. The corresponding figure for November 2015 was 63.5 and for November 2014 was 56.9
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for November stood at 58.0. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 47.2; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 50.1; and Prices were 60.5.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of November is 56.5; Employment 55.9; Inventories 45.8; Supplier Deliveries 50.6; and Prices 60.1
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of October 2016 stood at 59.7. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for October stood at 57.3. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 53.5; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 49.2; and Prices were 61.5.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of September 2016 stood at 58.4. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for September stood at 54.0. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 46.7; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 51.7; and Prices were 56.8.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
