Caroline Flammer won the 2015 Best Published Article by the French Social Investment Forum & Principles for Responsible Investment (FIR-PRI) for her article "Does Corporate Social Responsibility Lead to Superior Financial Performance? A Regression Discontinuity Approach."

Her article took top prize in the category Forum Pour L'investissement Responsable. the FIR is a non-profit and multi-stakeholder organization, which brings together organizations and individuals interested in promoting SRI in France. The United Nations-backed PRI is a network for international investors working together to put the six Principles for Responsible Investment into practice.

The article examines the effect of shareholder proposals related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) on financial performance. Specifically, she focuses on CSR proposals that pass or fail by a small margin of votes.
