For years, Mazi has been an active member of the Canadian cultural sector, leading cross-national dialogues about EDI. In 2016, he helped architect a summit on ‘the face of leadership in contemporary Canada.' In 2017, as a Canadian delegate to the 7th World Summit on Culture, he helped shape a new mission for 21st-century cultural leaders: re-orient toward empathy, solidarity, cohesion, and tolerance; transition either superheroes or super-misfits to the guardians of inclusion, catalysts of critical awareness, and facilitators of global citizenship. Mazi has completed both his MBA and PhD at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
