Parag Saigaonkar is the Regional Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting India Private Limited since June 2008. He is also a partner with Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Previously, Parag was the Office Managing Director for Mumbai as well as the Regional Service Area Leader for the Technology Integration practice within Deloitte US Consulting. Under his leadership, the Mumbai office became a fully owned subsidiary of Deloitte US and has now grown to more than 1000 professionals. Overall, the India practice has surpassed 3,500 professionals, while contributing to more than 25 percent of all U.S. Consulting’s and 18 percent of all global client service hours. In addition, the practice has developed three homegrown U.S. Directors.

His efforts around talent management and diversity have been recognized both internally, he won the Deloitte TI Diversity and Inclusion Role Model Award (2008), and externally where he was given the Women’s Choice Award by the Women in Leadership Forum, in Mumbai.

Parag began his career with Deloitte Canada in 1990, where he primarily focused on servicing Canadian Federal Government clients. In 1995, he moved to Hong Kong to join the Asia-Pacific practice. During his tenure in Hong Kong, he led projects across a wide spectrum of services including business strategy, financial management and operations, and technology implementation. He focused mostly on the telecommunications sector.

From 2001 to 2005, he led the organization's telecommunications consulting practice initially in East Asia and then in the Greater China region.

He has worked extensively across the Asia-Pacific region in several countries like Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Australia, and India. Parag moved from Hong Kong to Beijing in 2004 and to Mumbai in April 2005, where he continues to live with his wife Vandana and his two sons Pranav and Arjun.

Parag holds a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from the Ivey Business School from Canada.
