Why did you decide to do an Executive MBA?

I decided to do an executive MBA because I wanted to become a more effective and impactful leader. I have always been on the sales side of each role throughout my career. I recognized that in order to move forward, I needed a better understanding of all aspects of business. Pursuing an executive MBA provided me with the opportunity to continue working while also learning new skills.

Why did you choose Ivey?

I visited two other EMBA programs and they offered a very different environment than Ivey. Ivey was a no-brainer once I sat in on Glenn Rowe's strategy class. The engagement and enthusiasm from the class was incredibly motivating. I was amazed by the insights shared by the students and knew that I had found the right program for me.

What benefits have you seen so far in your career?

The early benefit for my career is in the area of perspective. I have become more thoughtful and analytical before making decisions. The case study method forces you to consider all sides of a decision before jumping to a solution. I find that I am doing more research than ever to make sure decisions are well thought out and implemented.
