Alexander McIsaac (HBA ’11), Director of Business Development at NRStor, and Matthew Sachs, Chief Operating Officer at Peak Power, participated in a moderated discussion with the undergraduate Corporations and Society course. Mr. McIsaac and Mr. Sachs discussed the opportunities that energy storage can present for cost savings for home owners and business, enhancing electricity reliability, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario. The seminar highlighted the potential for Ontario to be a leading jurisdiction for energy storage worldwide and the many approaches that are being taken in this emerging energy sector.
