The Ivey Business School is proud to present its inaugural Ivey Social Enterprise Business Plan Competition. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurial teams that are pursuing business plans in the social enterprise space.
The competition is sponsored by Pembroke Management and will include a prize pool of $20,000.
How to apply
The 2019 Ivey Social Enterprise Competition will use rules and guidelines for submissions set out by the Venture Labs Investment Competition (VLIC). For complete information on Eligibility Rules and Submission Requirements, please read the VLIC Official Rules and Submission Requirements.
- Complete our Intent to Compete Form when registration is open
- Submit a 2-page Executive Summary of Business Plan to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the November deadline. For more details on the format, read ‘Preparing an Executive Summary’ under the VLIC Rules
Teams chosen for the competition will need to provide a completed business plan a week prior to the competition. For more details on the format, read ‘Business Plan Review’ under the VLIC Rules.
Important Dates & Deadlines:
Intent to Compete: October 12, 2018
Executive Summary: November 9, 2018, by 12.00pm
Business Plan: January 18, 2019
Competition Weekend: January 25-26, 2019
