David A. Turnbull joined the Finance Group at the Ivey Business School in 2017 as a part-time lecturer while continuing to work in financial markets. As Head of Private Company Advisory, a division of the Capital Markets Group at Manulife Securities Incorporated, David founded and leads the middle market investment banking group advising on mergers and acquisitions and private placements. Previously, David was President of Arch Capital Inc., Chairman of the Audit Committee and Director of BEST Total Return Fund, Senior Vice President, Business Development at Crown Capital Partners and served as Chief Financial Officer for several companies.
