Arthur’s research focuses on a critical intersection in IB, the managerial micro-foundations of multinational enterprise (MNE) subsidiary governance, coordination, and organizational evolution. Arthur’s dissertation, based on interviews with over 40 MNE managers and longitudinal data from over 1,900 foreign subsidiaries, aims to develop new insights on subsidiary general manager (GM) changes in MNEs and the human side of business strategy.

Before pursuing his PhD at Ivey, Arthur has accumulated substantial industry and management experience. He has co-founded an import and export trading company and has worked in several large MNEs as a subsidiary GM. Arthur has a deep global mindset and has lived in several countries.
