How to cultivate capabilities and skills?

At IICHI, we envision a VBHC adoption as a four-phased sequence as depicted in Figure 1.

Cultivation of capabilities is the foundation of a 4 stage value-based healthcare movement.

In partnership with the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, the Ivey International Centre for Health Innovation at the Ivey Business School has developed a 4-module Value-Based Healthcare Leadership Program. IICHI leverages Ivey’s world-class faculty, cases and facilities to provide participants with Canada’s premiere value-based healthcare executive leadership program. The program consists of 4 distinct yet integrated modules as depicted in Figure 2. The emphasis is on actionable learnings designed with implementation in mind. These interactive workshops will provide participants with concepts and practices they can implement right away to improve value generation and delivery within their organizations. Scheduling of the Program was done with the professional in mind. Each module consist of two full days scheduled on Friday and Saturday in Toronto. 12.5 CPD credits are available to physicians as per the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. You can find more details about each module and registration on our upcoming events page.
