What does a renewable contract mean?

Ivey staff members work under a renewable contract system that outlines the expectations, obligations and benefits of employment. It’s our way of creating a vibrant working environment.

New hires begin with three-year renewable contracts, and thereafter are on three-year renewable contracts. While the length of everyone’s service varies depending on their skills and career paths, the average length of a contract at Ivey is seven years and many are in excess of 15 years.

Renewable contracts include membership in a competitive group benefits plan and a generous Group Retirement Savings Plan.
