Mahmood Nanji has nearly thirty years of public policy, public management and commercial transactions experience with both the governments of Ontario and Canada. Most recently, he was the Associate Deputy Minister, Ontario Retirement Pension Plan Implementation Secretariat at the Ontario Ministry of Finance.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Yadira joined the Ivey Business School in February 2017. Prior to this, she served as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robarts Research Institute at Western University, where she investigated rapid methods for the detection of foodborne pathogens in food products.

Program Coordinator

Mila Cvetkovic serves as Project Coordinator for the Lawrence Centre. She also coordinates operations and outreach for Ivey's Energy Policy and Management Centre. Mila holds a BA in Arts & Humanities, specializing in Sociology, from Western University.

Drew Sussman

Research Associate

Drew joined the Lawrence Centre in June 2018 as a Research Associate. He graduated from Huron University College with an Honors B.A. in Political Science and History, after which he attained a Masters of Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Jessica Rolfe

Jessica joined the Lawrence Centre in June 2018 as a Research Associate. Prior to this, she worked as an Information Management Analyst at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, working on information policy research and corporate repository management.

Sabrina Grand

Research Assistant

Sabrina joined the Lawrence Centre in July 2018 as a Research Assistant. She is a MSc in International Business 2019 candidate at Ivey and recently did a consulting assignment in Vietnam. Prior to pursuing her masters, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies at Huron University College.

Marwan joined the Lawrence Centre in June 2018 as a Research Assistant. He is a dual degree candidate combining Honors Business Administration (HBA) with a Bachelor’s of Medical Sciences (BMSc).

Michael Fenn

Visiting Fellow

Michael joined the Lawrence Centre in August 2018 as a Visiting Fellow. Michael’s extensive career in the public service included senior executive roles such as Ontario Deputy Minister, Chief Administrator in Hamilton and Burlington, and founding CEO of both Toronto/Hamilton regional transportation authority Metrolinx and GTA regional health authority Mississauga Halton LHIN.

Bob has a uniquely broad experience in all aspects of regulatory matters, having advanced his way through Government of Canada regulatory agencies from a technician level to a senior executive. Over his 37 years in public service he worked in laboratories, field inspection offices, district and regional specialist and managerial positions.

Executive in Residence

Richard Dicerni recently retired as the Deputy Minister, Alberta Executive Council and Head of the Alberta Public Service. Prior to accepting this position in October 2014, Mr. Dicerni was Adjunct Research Professor at the Ivey Business School and sat on various boards.

Brandon Schaufele is an Assistant Professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at the Ivey Business School. Prior to coming to Ivey in 2014, Schaufele was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Ottawa, as well as Research Director of the university’s Institute of the Environment.

Guy Holburn is the Suncor Chair in Energy Policy and Professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at the Ivey Business School. His area of expertise is in the intersection of business strategy and public policy. Much of his research is applied to strategy and policy issues in the energy and utilities sectors.

Davin Raiha

Davin Raiha joined the Business, Economics, and Public Policy group in July 2013, after completing his Ph.D at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. A native of Canada, he also holds a B.Com from the University of Toronto.
