Leslie Coates

Program Manager

Leslie Coates serves as the Managing Director of the Lawrence Centre and has been with the Ivey Business School since 2010. Prior to this she was Research Manager at Western University for ArcticNet, an NCE investigating the impacts of climate change on the coastal Canadian Arctic.

Yadira Tejeda Saldana

Postdoctoral Fellow

Yadira joined the Ivey Business School in February 2017. Prior to this, she served as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robarts Research Institute at Western University, where she investigated rapid methods for the detection of foodborne pathogens in food products.

Paige Mastalerz

Program Coordinator

Paige Mastalerz joined the Lawrence Centre in 2016. She oversees program operations and outreach for both the Lawrence Centre and Ivey's Energy Policy and Management Centre. Paige holds a BA in Arts & Humanities, specializing in French Literature, from Western University.

Robert Carberry

Visiting Fellow

Bob has a uniquely broad experience in all aspects of regulatory matters, having advanced his way through Government of Canada regulatory agencies from a technician level to a senior executive. Over his 37 years in public service he worked in laboratories, field inspection offices, district and regional specialist and managerial positions.

Richard Dicerni

Executive in Residence

Richard Dicerni recently retired as the Deputy Minister, Alberta Executive Council and Head of the Alberta Public Service. Prior to accepting this position in October 2014, Mr. Dicerni was Adjunct Research Professor at the Ivey Business School and sat on various boards.

Brandon Schaufele

Lawrence Centre Fellow

Brandon Schaufele is an Assistant Professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at the Ivey Business School. Prior to coming to Ivey in 2014, Schaufele was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Ottawa, as well as Research Director of the university’s Institute of the Environment.

Davin Raiha

Lawrence Centre Fellow

Davin Raiha joined the Business, Economics, and Public Policy group in July 2013, after completing his Ph.D at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. A native of Canada, he also holds a B.Com from the University of Toronto.

Greig Mordue

Research Fellow

Greig Mordue is with McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He is the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Chair in Advanced Manufacturing Policy and Associate Professor, jointly appointed with the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice in the Faculty of Engineering.

Jean-Louis Schaan

Lawrence Centre Fellow

Prior to joining Ivey, Jean-Louis Schaan was Director of the University of Ottawa's Executive MBA Program. Professor Schaan has had a 20-year career at the University of Ottawa as a professor and as an administrator. He has taught in all academic programs, has managed the School's Management section and run the bilingual International MBA Program.

Guy Holburn

Lawrence Centre Fellow

Guy Holburn is the Suncor Chair in Energy Policy and Professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at the Ivey Business School. His area of expertise is in the intersection of business strategy and public policy. Much of his research is applied to strategy and policy issues in the energy and utilities sectors.
