Travel update, and some advice for international applicants

Dec 14, 2013

I was recently on a recruiting trip to India representing Ivey in both New Delhi and Mumbai. Our program participated in the QS 1-1 Connect and MBA Fairs in each city, and these were certainly the busiest events I’ve seen yet.

Luckily I had Pooja from our Ivey Mumbai office along with me in both cities (she’s also a recent Ivey MBA grad, which is an added bonus!). She was able to provide an invaluable personal account of the Ivey MBA student experience for event attendees. Between her insights and experiences and my admissions perspective we made a pretty good team! Thanks to everyone I met on my travels — it was great to see so much interest in Ivey and to hear so many great questions.

Our final application deadline is approaching quickly on January 7th! We suggest international applicants keep a couple of things in mind if they are still planning to apply for this deadline.

New Delhi

It can take some time to obtain your study visa and permit should you be granted an offer of admission to the Ivey MBA Program. This timing will differ depending on the country you apply from. We encourage you to research this with your respective embassy or consulate and familiarize yourself with the process. You will also want to spend some time determining how to finance the program and ensuring you have enough time to make the necessary arrangements.

The Ivey MBA Program for 2013 starts on April 2nd and if you are interested in attending our Pre-Ivey Knowledge courses then your start date will be even sooner — March 4, 2013! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team here in MBA Recruiting and Admissions.
