Over 60 people. Varying schedules. Different personalities. One man. One iPhone. One day. Challenge accepted.
I set out to write a blog about my PKP experience this month and then realized that the program is almost over. Another testament to the fact that life zooms by when you’re having a great time. So in order to have the memory of my fellow PKPers, I set out to take a picture of all of us in the program in one day at our new home: New Ivey. The original idea was to have everyone hold up his or her nameplate and do something creative. Creativity trumped order. Why hold up your name when your personality speaks more to who you are? Despite some initial reluctance and critical questioning of my intentions with the snapping of these photographs, I was able to get some really great shots of most of the PKP class of 2013. Everyone in the class is of varying ages and yet there were some really creative poses. As Pablo Picasso stated, “All children are born artists, the problem is to remain an artist as we grow up”. With the number of talented individuals I’ve met so far in PKP, I believe we should be able to give Picasso a good run for his money.
Without further ado, I present to you the super awesome PKP class of 2013.
