Remembrance Day is our opportunity to honour the Canadians who have fought in past wars, and those who continue to do so in places of conflict around the world today. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

As November 11 falls on a Sunday this year, the HBA Association (HBAA) will host a ceremony on Friday, November 9 at 11 a.m. in the BMO Financial Group Auditorium. Faculty and staff are invited to attend the short ceremony.

All are encouraged to attend the public ceremonies on November 11. In London, a ceremony will be held from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Cenotaph in Victoria Park. On November 12 at Western University, there will be a ceremony in the University Community Centre (UCC) beginning at 10:30 a.m.
