Mihwa is an Entrepreneurship PhD Candidate at the Ivey Business School. She is interested in the application of gender/intersectionality perspective in entrepreneurship research. She seeks to understand how the effects of gendered practices in entrepreneurship can be reversed to promote greater diversity and inclusion. For her dissertation, she is using randomized experiments to examine the effects of gendered language on the individuals’ perceived attractiveness of joining entrepreneurial firms.
