Gouri Mohan is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership. Gouri has recently completed her PhD in Management from IESE Business School, Barcelona. Gouri’s research centers on leadership emergence and evolution in organizations. Specifically, she studies the evolving antecedents of leadership emergence across time, collective leadership in diverse, global teams, and the role of leadership processes across organizational levels (e.g., within middle-management and the upper echelons of organizations. In her research, Gouri employs an array of analytic approaches like social network analysis, multilevel modeling, growth modeling, and faultline analysis to explore complex questions related to leadership and teams. Prior to her academic career, Gouri worked as an HR Manager at The Coca-Cola Company in India. At the Institute for Leadership, Gouri will work with Fernando Olivera and Gerard Seijts on research related leader character and candor.
