Special Mention

Hailun Qi is a visiting PhD student at Ivey, supervised and hosted by Ning Su for the 2016/17 academic year. At the recent 2016 International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in Dublin, Ireland, Hailun Qi and Ji-Ye Mao’s paper “Facilitating Transactions on a Crowdsourcing Platform: A Cognitive Frame Perspective” won the 2nd Runner-up Best Theory Paper Award. ICIS is the top and largest annual conference of the Association for Information Systems ( AIS), which attracts the highest-quality research in information system globally every year. More than 1200 papers were submitted, 374 of them were accepted for proceedings, and only 3 of them received the Best Theory Award. Congratulations on this achievement, Hailun!
