This session will include strategies for success and lessons learned from past rounds. Mark Daley (AVPR/Dept. of Computer Science) will provide a perspective from an ERA review panel, the review process, and what makes successful applications stand out to panel members.

In this presentation, Dr. Wilson will explain changes to SSHRC’s core research programs, including new streams of funding for Insight and Partnerships programming, and changes to subject-matter eligibility rules for health-related research. SSHRC has modified their criteria slightly for eligible health-related research areas, which will be of interest especially to those in research areas that were previously ineligible based on subject matter.
CIHR – Meet the President
This an open session to meet with Dr. Roderick McInnes, Acting President, Canadian Institutes of Health Research. During the session you will have an opportunity hear about Dr. McInnes’ priorities, discuss recent changes at CIHR and ask your questions.
This session is open to all researchers, grant facilitators and graduate and postdoctoral trainees.
