Western Strategic Support for Tri-Agency Success
Funded by the Office of the Vice-President (Research), the Western Strategic Support (WSS) program offers different levels of funding opportunities identified as Seed, Open, Bridge and Accelerator grants (depending on program). These grants are targeted to all researchers who are pursuing CIHR, SSHRC, and/or NSERC-related research. The intent of these grants is to offer critical, one-time funding to support an individual investigator’s research activities for the subsequent development of strong, competitive submissions to Tri-Agency grant competitions (CIHR, NSERC and/or SSHRC).

Research in Organizations Program (RiO) – Deadline this week
The objective of the RiO program is to support empirical studies conducted in organizational settings in which scholars collaborate with managers to address a problem important to both the theory and practice of strategic management. The grants are intended to encourage strategy researchers to engage more closely with the strategic decision-makers and strategy developers in different types of organizations. Thus, all proposals are required to formally include an organization that will serve as the primary research site and subject of study.
If you are interested in applying to this program, please let Shelley Bellyou or Kathy Laid know immediately so they can touch base with RDS regarding the overhead restriction.
