Special Mention

A big congratulations goes out to Paul Beamish! He is included in the Top 40 Bestselling Case Authors 2016/17 list that’s just been released by The Case Centre. It looks at total annual sales (primarily within Europe) for each of the 8,000 case writers whose cases they distribute (The Case Centre is the third largest case distributor in the world, and one of 20 distributors of Ivey cases). This year, Paul ranked at 30th on the list. Paul has over 400 products available on their site, including cases, teaching notes, and translations. His bestselling cases this past year were Nora-Sakari: A Proposed JV in Malaysia, Research in Motion: Managing Explosive Growth, and Mattel and the Toy Recalls (B). Paul notes he enjoys case writing and that it “helps you stay relevant by learning about real businesses; provides useful research insights; represents a nice complement to writing journal articles; and is just plain interesting.” Being included in the Best Selling Authors list is quite the honour. Way to go Paul!
