Research Western has launched the 2018-19 competition for the NSERC Collaborative Research and Training Experience Program (CREATE). A yearly quota for CREATE Letters of Intent (LOI) is established by NSERC, and an internal application and selection process is therefore in place to identify the applications that will be submitted to NSERC under Western’s quota. For the 2018-19 competition Western’s quota is 6 LOI application submissions. If you are planning to apply through NSERC’s partnership agreement with DFG in Germany, you can apply outside the institutional quota but must still create and submit an LOI form in the NSERC system. Please contact our office for guidance.
