7th Symposium on Intelligent Investing
On May 18, 2018, the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing held the 7th Symposium on Intelligent Investing at the Ivey Tangerine Centre in Toronto. The mission of the symposium was to encourage and support academic research and study in areas related to value investing. The presenters, from UCLA, Ohio State, University of Notre Dame, University of Chicago, Columbia University and other Ivy league universities, discussed their work on value investing and related topics, such as market anomalies and value versus growth investing.
Congratulations to the symposium organizer and chair, George Athanassakos, and the scientific committee including Walid Busaba, Saurin Patel and Felipe Restrepo. The 7th annual event was a great success and sold out with 50 North American academics in attendance.

In preparation for the submission of the Notification of Intent to Apply (NOI) for Discovery Grant, NSERC will host webinars to assist the research community on how to submit a NOI using the Research Portal and the NSERC Canadian Common CV (CCV).
