Growing up in Kenya, I have been able to work with a number of NGO’s and see the direct impact of their work and the integral role they play in working towards achieving the SDG’s. As well as this, having spent two years as a Global Development major, I am now more familiar with the intricacies of how these non-profits operate in relation to development goals as well as politics. Participating in this program will allow me to reaffirm my commitment to being a force for good in the business world while working with other like-minded individuals, driven to do the same.
