I grew up in Guelph, Ontario, and that is also where I developed a passion for sustainability. This passion was ignited in high school, during a semester-long experiential learning program called the Community Environmental Leadership Program. Participating in that program awakened my desire to work collaboratively to solve the world’s most pressing problems.
After studying environmental geography at Western for 2 years, I decided that the Sustainability Certificate at Ivey would be the perfect place to expand that desire. I was overwhelmed by the number of passionate and driven people I met, who had similar goals. In my final year at Ivey, I worked part-time with the Network for Business Sustainability. I fell in love with the potential for continued learning and impact, and I’ll be staying on the team full-time for the year following graduation. I’d describe my role as sort of the “everything person” – my favourite type – there’s always something new to do.
Outside school and work, you can find me spending time outdoors with friends and family, or making music. In fact, this year I’ve started writing and releasing music on Spotify, which you can check out here, if you’re interested.
