Lavisha joined the lab in June 2022 as a research assistant. Her research project aims to understand regenerative farming, valuation of farm land and financial instruments that will help improve this space for investors. She has had the opportunity to work in 4 countries and recently spent her summer working at an IT firm- bit2bit americas in Lima, Peru as a Pricing Strategy Intern. She has also worked in the Republic of Congo as a Tax Intern for EY. Lavisha had a social impact venture in Mumbai, India targeting UN SDGs 1,6,8 and 13. The venture recycled waste soap bars with the help of underprivileged women and sold them in hyperlocal markets where sanitation was a problem.  

Lavisha wishes to work in ESG further, in energy and climate action. She is a professionally trained dancer and is studying to become a yoga teacher.
