"Challenges in Sustainability" is a series of discussion panels organized by an interdisciplinary team of graduate students in the Collaborative Environment and Sustainability program at Western and the BSV Centre. The first of three discussion panels for the 2016/17 year took place on December 2nd at Ivey. The topic: How can sustainability be a shared value for customers and corporations?
The interactive session drew an audience of 70 faculty, researchers, and students from across Western. The panel was selected by the MES students to cover a wide range of expertise.

The second panel is to take place on Friday, January 27th, 11 AM – 1 PM, in room 1310 in the Ivey Building. This panel will focus the topic: how can we learn from indigenous approaches to environment and sustainability?

The last panel will held during EnviroCon, 2017. This conference, hosted by Western's Centre for Environment and Sustainability, will be taking place March 8th in the International and Graduate Affairs Building at Western.
