Have you heard of The Next 36? Each year, the Next 36 chooses 36 high potential students and recent grads, challenging them to build a new business venture or iterate and scale an existing idea with enormous potential. Over the course of 7 months, these young innovators are provided with mentorship from top Canadian business leaders, up to $50,000 in seed capital, an unparalleled founder development program taught by world-class faculty, and more.

The call for applications to the 2017 Cohort of The Next 36 is now open to exceptional student entrepreneurs. The program is open to Canadian undergraduate and masters students under 30, from all academic backgrounds, who have either graduated within the past year or are in their final two years of study. The final application deadline is October 18, 2016 although invitations to National Selection Weekend are sent on a rolling basis.
