Ivey Business School and College of Commerce, National Chengchi University  Partnership

In 2007, the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada (Ivey) and the College of Commerce at the National Chengchi University (CNCCU) in Taiwan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Case Development.

The partnership which will result in the publication of 25 case studies focusing on Taiwan businesses will support case writing and learning, a key teaching aspect of Ivey's and CNCCU's curriculum.  Each case, complete with teaching notes for instructors, will be co-authored by Ivey and CNCCU professors.

"Ivey is excited about this collaboration. It enables management faculty worldwide to increase the wealth of knowledge available for, and about, business practices in Taiwan," said Paul Beamish, Professor of International Business at Ivey.  "Entering, operating in, and engaging competitors in global markets, particularly from emerging markets, are crucial learning aspects for today's business students."
