Julie began teaching at Ivey in 2003 as a lecturer in business foundations. During her time at the school, she has specialized in teaching foundational accounting, finance, marketing, production management, organizational behaviour and strategy to undergraduate students. She has also taught globalization and international business and critical and creative thinking, however most of her teaching career has been with the Business Foundations Department at Ivey. Ivey’s Business Foundations courses are available to all full-time and part-time university students from all faculties at Western. These courses are designed to appeal to students who are interested in learning about business and/or students who intend to apply to Ivey’s HBA program after their first two years of university. After having taught in Business Foundations for over ten years, Julie is pleased to share the Department Director role with longtime colleague, Ian Dunn.
