The value of a university education is evidenced in the lives of its graduates

In recent years, many universities have expressed their commitment to a holistic, socially-engaged vision of higher education and are increasingly supporting students to develop character and attributes. These are the qualities necessary for students to navigate the fourth industrial revolution, flourish, and make a positive contribution to society.

In this webinar series, hosted by The  Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues at the University of Birmingham, six world-renowned universities recognised for their focus on character education will share their knowledge and expertise. The international webinar series will feature presentations on the role of universities in helping their students to cultivate the character and attributes required for human flourishing.

On 15 May 2024, join us to hear Dusya Vera and Gerard Seijts share the research conducted at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership and how it provides the foundation for their work on character leadership within the Ivey Business School's student programming and its new cross-campus leadership certificates for undergraduate students across Western University.
