The Ivey community mourns the loss and celebrates the life of Canadian businessman Purdy Crawford.
A long-time friend of the School, Purdy received the much deserved recognition as the Ivey Business Leader of the Year in 2000 and continued to be actively engaged and invested in the School’s success. Most recently Purdy was one of three honourary Co-Chairs of the transformational $206 million Ivey Campaign for Leadership which concluded in 2013. In addition to his always thoughtful advice and counsel, his generosity was just as thoughtful. In 2012 Purdy joined forces with fellow Business Leader Award recipient Peter Godsoe to lead a fundraising effort to establish half-tuition awards for our most deserving HBA and MBA students. As always, supporting the next generation of business leaders.
Ivey was fortunate to call Purdy a friend. He will be missed.
