Before you set up online registration for an event, you need to determine whether or not attendees will have to pay a fee in order to attend. Based on the decision, we recommend using one of the following registration tools, which are both supported in-house:
Registration for free events:
Eventbrite
Eventbrite is a user-friendly online registration tool frequently used by many of Ivey's departments.
If you are new to using Eventbrite and would like more details, contact web@ivey.ca. Please note that this tool cannot be used to collect registration fees.
Registration for events with a fee:
GiftTool
For events charging a registration fee, GiftTool is the recommended online tool to use. If you are new to using GiftTool, click here to review the GiftTool Administration Guide.
Prior to setting up your registration details, you must notify Jennifer Hennessy in Finance to ensure that all accounting details are accurately setup in advance.
