Why did you decide to do an MBA?

In 2019, the idea of pursuing an MBA sparked my desire to expand my skill set and deepen my understanding of various business domains. My ultimate objective is to advance in my professional career as a marketing expert and eventually ascend to the position of CEO.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

To consolidate all the knowledge gained in every course and integrate them into a broader understanding from a business perspective.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

The generosity and camaraderie that characterizes my cohort.

Describe the role you play professionally:

When I'm at any job, I'm always the person that everyone can look for advice or just to talk if they need to. I also contribute creating a more positive environment amongst my teammates. I focus on doing my assigned tasks diligently and always look for new ways to be more efficient, communicate my ideas properly and implement positive changes in the workplace.

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

One of my most significant achievements as a manager was successfully making excellent hires during my previous job. The ability to select individuals who not only met the company's performance expectations but also adapted to the work culture greatly enhanced the overall productivity and made my time there highly enjoyable.

What books are on your bedside table AND/OR what podcast are you listing to right now?

A book I've been reading recently is Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski, which is a fiction book from The Witcher saga. I'm also planning to read some of my career-related books soon.

How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc)?

I try to meditate late at night before sleep or in the mornings when I wake up. Listening to music is a way to boost my mood and feel better during the day. Regarding to exercise, there are weeks in which we go and play soccer with some of my classmates. I also try to go for runs when I have the time.

Any additional info you might want to share (interesting facts, special hobbies etc.)

I played the keyboards with different music bands on several occasions.
