Why did you decide to do an MBA?

I see an MBA as a transformative experience, providing opportunities for personal and intellectual growth. I wanted to pursue an MBA to think critically, analyze complex business problems, and develop a strategic mindset, as well as build a strong network that will be beneficial for future business collaborations, job opportunities, and mentorship.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

Working collaboratively and thriving in high-pressure environments have been integral aspects of my experience at Ivey, a dynamic and case-focused institution. Every day at Ivey is filled with fast-paced challenges that require making the most of every opportunity. This environment has taught me the importance of consistently performing at my peak. Moreover, I have had the privilege of forging incredible lifelong connections with individuals who constantly motivate me to excel, regardless of the circumstances.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

The Ivey MBA journey has brought about significant personal growth and self-reflection. Core 1 has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zones, challenge my assumptions, and develop my leadership abilities. This transformative experience has been both unexpected and rewarding.

Describe the role you play professionally:

The Salesforce Product Manager role involves being responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of products within the Salesforce ecosystem. Some key responsibilities include Product Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Product Launch and Adoption and Product Performance Analysis.

The role plays a critical role in driving the success of Salesforce products, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the products meet customer needs and drive business growth.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

One of the most challenging aspects of the Salesforce Product Manager role can be balancing competing priorities and managing stakeholder expectations. As a Product Manager, you are responsible for gathering inputs from various stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, executives, and sales representatives. Each stakeholder may have different needs, priorities, and perspectives on what should be included in the product roadmap.

Navigating these diverse perspectives and making decisions that align with the overall product strategy while meeting the needs of key stakeholders can be challenging. It requires strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage expectations and ensure that the product roadmap and features are well-aligned with business goals and customer requirements.

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

In just 1.5 years, I successfully managed high-value stakeholders and spearheaded the development of revenue-generating products worth millions for Quote to Cash and Billing systems Salesforce.

The Goal by Eliyahu M. Goldratt and Jeff Cox

How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc)?

Running, strength training, music.

First female in my family to pursue an international master's degree :)
